Road Trip

Well it has been nearly two weeks since Kevin has been gone on his road trip. Their furthest point south was down to Woodbury, Georgia. He took our youngest son with him and Kevin's brother is also driving down there too. They took cattle to some of our customers in Kansas, Missouri, and Alabama. I had to stay home and hold down the fort, so to speak. I sent my camera with them and am hoping they bring back lots of pictures. Shane has missed two weeks of school but I am sure there is some educational value in a road trip with his dad. He really is the cowboy out of our 3 kids and enjoys it more than the other boys. I have survived fairly well in his absence. Some issues with the feed truck one morning that almost made me late for school, and a calf that was stuck in the feeder made for a frustrating morning. But thank goodness for a father-in-law that is just a phone call away. When I ran home at lunch the calf was out and all was well. Good thing I like the country living!!
