Christmas is coming early

Since I sent my camera with Kevin on his road trip, I figured that I needed to buy myself a new one. Okay, any little excuse will do to find a reason to buy myself a new toy. So I asked around, did a little research and settled on a Nikdon D90. I've wanted a SLR for a loooong time now and made enough at my other part time job to buy it in two months. See I am trying to be fiscally responsible, I earned the money first!! I almost talked myself out of it a few weeks ago and then I saw some of the video of "The Last Lecture" and decided to live for today and not worry about what more practical things I could buy with the $$$. Then I go to church today and someone talks about food storage and of course I am feeling guilty for spending money on something we can't eat in an emergency. But then again now I can take some really good pictures of food. Anyways it is too late now, it is ordered and on the way. Now I can't wait, I am hoping it gets here before Colton's last volleyball tournament so I can experiment with it.
